The new Hyundai Verna Fluidic has gained quite a fan-following in India due to its classic sculpted Japanese Zen style design and a sophisticated style. Available in diesel, the Hyundai Verna may get stiff competition from Honda Amaze Diesel. Though the design and looks of the Honda Amaze are similar to that of the Brio, it does manage to have a balanced look. Honda may have a winner in the Brio based sedan, but whether the company will be able to repeat the success of Honda City with the Amaze is anyone’s guess.

But, while the Hyundai Verna Fluidic is for those who celebrate the seamless combination of design and performance, the Honda Amaze Diesel may well be the poorer sedan that offers nothing more than functionality and a promise to deliver on expectations.
